Ink and colors on silk. Two sparrows on a blossoming peach branch. Inscription with dedication to Youzhang, signed: "Mulin di Huang Yuanzhang" and an artist's seal: "Yuanzhang". Flowering prunus branch. Inscription with dedication, signed: "Yunshang Liang Jiuzhang" and two artist's seals: "yun", "shang".
From a German private collection, collected in the 1980s - Huang Yuanzhang (pseudonym "Mulin") from Taizhou was a Qing-period painter of Qing period, known for his flower and bird paintings. Liang Liuzhang (pseudonym "Yunshang") was active in Foshan in the 19th century and was a collector of paintings and calligraphy
